TESTIMONIALS

I consider it a privilege when someone entrusts me with their guitar. I treat each one as if it were my own. My goal is to get the most out of a guitar both in terms of tone as well as playability utilizing the best repair practices and original parts if practical. This philosophy has served me well, and I'm honored to present these very nice testimonials from customers. They've put a lot of trust in me over the years, for which I am extremely grateful.

I've always had a deep admiration for the work of a true craftsman who takes pride in his work. My D-28 is a genuine example of the workmanship of a truly first class Luthier. Thank you for breathing new life into my old friend.

I've had the guitar over 25 years. For a number of reasons it spent a number of years just sitting unplayed. Then I started playing again and loved the way it played and sounded. I sent it to you only because I had worn out the frets. When you suggested the additional work I thought, "Why spend the money when I already love the guitar as it is?" But I decided to go ahead because I wanted it to be "right", and the results are fantastic. Being so intimately familiar with the guitar I can see your workmanship and attention to detail, and they're both outstanding!

Thanks for installing the pickup in my acoustic guitar and getting it back to me on such a short notice. I've had a few days to try it out before the gig. It works and sounds great. After all the work I've had you do on my electric guitars, it's good to see your skills are just as good on acoustic guitars as well. Keep up the good work, see you next time.

Wow Mark. Wonderful job. I have had a minute finally to pop into an empty meeting room and check out my ES330. She looks, feels, and plays just wonderfully. I can't wait to get her home and plug in. Thank you so much.

I just wanted to email you to say that you did a great job on the neck reset and repair. My son is very happy also since I don't steal his baby Taylor anymore now that the Martin feels right.
Thanks again for the great repair work!

The action on my new Agile 3100 could not be better, it was a 100% upgrade from the factory setup. I couldn't be happier with the feel of the guitar now.
Thanks again for the great repair work!

I just wanted drop you a note to express my appreciation for the high level of quality lutherie work you have provided to me over the last seven years.

I have never failed to be completely impressed with the meticulous workmanship and attention to detail that you have given my instruments. In thinking about our association over the past few years, you have demonstrated your versatility in a variety of applications from restoring two Gibson L-5CES, flawless setup work on my Martin HD-28V and Collings flattops, to great finish, fret, and electrical work on several instruments including my custom Schaefer archtop and prized vintage Telecaster and Stratocaster.

I remember one of our more unusual and innovative projects came from building a six string bass around a trashed 80's Fender Bass VI neck coupled with an aftermarket Tele body. The results were so unconventional and well thought out (with compensation for the 30" scale length), it vastly exceeded my expectations in the outcome for both sound and the instrument's playability. I couldn't have been more impressed!

I have the highest confidence in your capability. After several negative experiences in years past with other area luthiers, it is a real comfort to have someone with your skills and talents in the Raleigh vicinity.

If you ever require references for prospective customers or manufacturers, please don't hesitate to give them my number.

My best wishes for your continued success......and please don't move out of the area!

Regards,

Bernie
