ELECTRONIC WORK
Most pickup installations and other standard work are billed at $2.40/minute. I'm very efficient and work by the minute to a bench timer. You are billed only for the time I spend on your guitar, not coffee breaks or UPS deliveries!
Note: Most common electronic work runs between 20-60 minutes. More complex jobs (semi-hollow rewiring, active systems, etc.) often run 60-120 minutes.
NECK RESETS
Taylor (post-2001) $250.00
Martin SC13 $250.00
Note: I no longer reset traditional dovetail neck joints (Martin, Gibson, etc.) or pre-2001 Taylor.
PRE-PURCHASE EVALUATION
This service is for those customers who need an instrument evaluated within a purchase return window, for example, a guitar bought online or purchased locally on approval. This comprehensive inspection covers every aspect of your instrument's condition, structurally and electronically. Everything is recorded, from action and playability measurements, fret wear, etc., to the condition of the components, finish, binding, and bracing. You are provided with a written report of my findings. This service takes about 30 minutes and is done while you wait in your vehicle. The cost of the evaluation is $120. Text me at 919-210-2410 for availability for this service, which may be limited based on the current backlog.
